North Hopkins Dairy Judging Team
Headed to State Contest

The North Hopkins High School Dairy Judging Team competed in the Area V & Area VI Dairy Judging Contest, hosted in the Civic Center, on Wednesday, and won second place, behind Harmony. They will be advancing to the state competition, later this month, at Texas A&M University, in College Station.

Other teams placing in the top 10 in the contest included: Mineola, Winona, Prairiland, Gilmer, Mt. Vernon, Grand Saline, Saltillo, and Cooper.

 

 

 

Jessie Williams, a member of the North Hopkins Team was the high point individual in the contest, scoring 458 points.

Other North Hopkins Team members and their scores are: Dalton Hoover - 416, Cody Crouch - 386, and Garrett Sprague -374.

Congratulations to North Hopkins and best of luck at State Competition!!!
