Local and national GOP candidates made their way to Sulphur Springs on Monday night
for the "Denim & Diamonds" event, sponsored in the Civic Center. Will Ramsey joins
Hopkins County Judge Chris Brown and Congressman Ralph Hall at Tuesday night's event.

 

With many individuals lucky enough to have a holiday on Monday, as they celebrated President's Day, local Republican Party members decided it was the perfect time to host their "Denim and Diamonds" Political Forum and Dinner, in the Hopkins County Civic Center. The event drew local, state, and national candidates to Sulphur Springs for Monday night's event.

Featured speaker was State GOP Chairman, Steve Munisteri, who "rallied the troops" as he focused on the upcoming primary and encouraged local Republicans to focus on the November elections, that he called "a critical time for our country."

Monday nights dinner was catered by Big Smith BBQ and featured a western theme, as a silent auction and raffle were hosted to provide party support.
