Continue on Tuesday Night

It was another round of practice sessions for Dairy Festival Candidates, in the Hopkins County Civic Center, Tuesday night, as the candidates perfected their talent routines and made preparations for Saturday night's show.

Five of the candidates and Queen Sarah Yosten practiced their routines and worked with staging and sound crews to get everything right.

Candidate Britney Cheatham

Candidates 5 through 9 worked on their regimens and there was time for others to "polish"their routine, as well.

"We want everyone to have time to get their routine ready and to put their best performance to the judges, on Saturday night," advised Dairy Festival Board Member Pam Black. "We want the sound, staging, and props to be perfect, so that the candidate can present their talent the best!"

Candidate Chesley McGlammery portrays a scarecrow from
"Wizzard of Oz."

"We work with the girls and get them ready for the big show, before the judges," continued Board Member Cindy Lancaster. "We want them to be comfortable and to know that all of their support is behind them!"

Meanwhile, the set design crew was working behind stage, as they fashioned props and put the finishing touches on artwork and staging for the show. "We have a beautiful stage planned and think that everyone will be pleased with the 'Moo-lympics' theme," advised Board Member Eva Froneberger, as she painted on the set. "It will be a beautiful set and one that fits with the upcoming summer olympics!"

Candidate Kaitlyn Potts perfects her dance routine.

The candidates will have an "off" night on Wednesday, to relax and enjoy a break, while the Dairy Festival Board continues their work on the staging and props for Saturday night's show. Then, the candidates will return on Thursday night, for a "run" through the program, in preparation for Full Dress Rehearsal, on Friday night.

Candidate Haley Reynolds performs her own version of
"Where the Boys Are."

"The little kids will be here on Friday night, and we will be in full dress, for pictures," advised Patrica Chase, President of the Dairy Festival Board. "We'll have our script perfected and hope to have a 'trouble-free' run through the entire program, so that everything is ready for Saturday night!"

Candidate Morgan Russom concludes her dance presentation in
practice, Tuesday night.

Dairy Festival candidates continue to sell tickets, so make certain you purchase yours from your favorite candidate. However, tickets will also be on sale at the door, Saturday night!

And, Queen Sarah Yosten works on perfecting her
talent segment, for Saturday night's show!!!

Meanwhile, "waiting in the wings," little Charlie Betts works on
