It was a heartbreaking loss for the Hopkins County Dixie Darling Softball Team, on Monday, night, when they lost  in the fourth round of play.

 

 

 

The Darlings had lost their first game to Louisiana, 15-8, but rallied back and won 19-0 over the Andrews, South Carolina Team, on Saturday night.

 

 

 

 

 

The young ladies from Hopkins County won their third-round game, on Sunday night 21-1 over Mississippi, advancing to the fourth round, in a Sunday, 9:00 p.m. game.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Battling "the jitters" and inclement, rainy weather, in South Carolina, the young ladies from Hopkins County have something to be proud of, as they advanced through the tournament, and have represented Hopkins County well!
