And, they are off...........

 

It's been a long time tradition of the Fall Festival and Saturday's Annual Duck Race was no exception, as excitement built for the winning ducks to make their appearance at the finish line! This year's race was sponsored by Shadow Ranch and proceeds will benefit handicapped children, at their facility east of Sulphur Springs.

 

 

 

Participants purchased a "duck" to have their number placed on it and the "game of chance" decided whose duck crossed the finish line first. And, that lucky winner of $350.00 was Mary Groner of Sulphur Springs. Mary won the top prize and donated the proceeds back to Shadow Ranch so that the money could be used to support their cause in Hopkins County!
