A friend of mine Eddie Trapp asked I submit pictures from our hour long hunt that bagged 3 225-275 lbs pigs, one boar, one sow, and one bar. We had our lunch break hunt in Delta County in Texas to help a farmer that was having some problems with a group of hogs. Eddie brought along his two faithful dogs, one bay dog and one grab dog as well as two young pups. T-Garth the black dog pictured in one of the photos with me is the grab dog, and boy can he track as well, every time I have went out with Eddie and T-Garth we have always gotten our bacon! Also in the photos is little Zack, a wire haired terrier, that will raise a ruckus when T-Garth has a pig. This little dog is fearless and gets right in there and grabs a hold of a pig just like his larger counterpart. These pigs were taken with my Para Ordinance 1911 .45 Auto and with Eddie’s old trusty .30-.30, for your readers that may not have pistol hunted it is a rush. I come from Iowa and was recently transplanted into Texas, we didn’t have hogs up there so this is all new to me, but I think I am a lifer now! Enjoy!
