"Eight Is Enough"
by: Bobby McDonald
Can you imagine increasing your family with five children, overnight? Well, that's just what happened in the Tommy and Michelle Jolly family in North Hopkins. And, they already had three children of their own!
"We saw these five precious children that needed a home and couldn't bear the thought of them being separated," relates the Jolly's. "So, we came home and began to plan and to make arrangements to adopt them! That was 18 long months ago, and the adoption is finally complete!"
The Jolly family was celebrating the completion of the adoption, on Friday, with a trip to Plain and Fancy Sandwich Shoppe, following the proceedings.
"Yes, it's been some major adjustments for everyone!" expressed the Jollys. "But, the sacrifices and the adjustments have certainly had their rewards, as you're able to see these kids in a stable home environment and making progress each and every day!"

The older Jolly children, students at North Hopkins School are Tommy Jr., a freshman, Jessica, a sophomore, and Sonya, a ten year old.
And, the five new children are: Clarissa, age 6, Chelsea, age 5, Cadence, age 4, Christopher, age 3, and Colton, age 2.
"In the last 18 months we developed routines, the older children have learned to help, and we've all made arrangements to be one large and active family!" stated the Jollys. "But, that doesn't mean that there aren't some mornings that are hectic, around our house, with everyone trying to get ready to go somewhere!"
"And, we have enough love to give everyone!" expressed Michelle Jolly!
"But, that does mean that 'eight is enough!'"
Congratulations, Jolly Family!!!
