Local EMS "Goes Pink For the Cure"

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month! And, the local EMS at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital is "Going Pink For the Cure." To raise funds for Breast Cancer Research and to raise awareness in our community, they are sponsoring a 5K Run/Walk on October 20th.

The event will be hosted in Buford Park and will begin at 8:00 a.m., with registration beginning at 7:00 a.m.

 

 

 

"We want everyone to come out and support this effort in hopes of finding a cure for this dreadful disease," expressed members of the Local EMS. "Hardly any of us haven't been effected by this disease in our family, and this is your chance to do your part in finding a cure!"
