Local Youth Return From Trip
to Europe

For a group of local Sulphur Springs High School students, it's been twelve days of sightseeing, learning, and having fun in France and London. The students from Sulphur Springs joined a group of students from Mt. Vernon and left on June 20th, for a trip of a lifetime. They returned home on July 2nd.

"It was a wonderful experience!" exclaimed Sarah Forsman. "We saw so many sights, learned about many things we'd only heard about in a textbook, and of course, had loads of fun!"

The students were part of a group sponsored by Mt. Vernon educator, Laurie Ramsey, and were accompanied by four more sponsors, Tracey Beckett, Shawn Nikah, Colby Dixon, and McKenzie Griffin. Their guide was Kyle Anderson, of Joshua Expeditions.

 

 

Sulphur Springs students attending were: Gracie Cable, Sarah Forsman, Alissa Doughtie, Justin Johnson, Lindsay McCormack, Kason Childress, Katie Cooper, Alex Mcgahee, Chis Hefner, and Ashleigh Wallace.

Other students from Northeast Texas on the trip were: Ian Arnot, Luke Kaufman, Tanner Brock, Ryan Fisk, Tedi Griffin, Hayley Campbell, Bridget Hosey, Rhett Jones, Hunter Michel, Destiny Bell, Kayleigh Admire, Alyssa Haller, Paige Penny, Trey Poe, Mady Reeves, Thomas Rodriguez, Tori Sanchez, Peter Hand, Chris Harpold, Jeremy Lyon,  and Alexis Hope.
