Fall Festival Parade "Kick's Off"
2007 Festival, Saturday Morning
by: Bobby McDonald
It was crowds of youth and those who are "youthful" that lined the streets of Sulphur Springs, on Saturday morning, as the 2007 Fall Festival officially began, and the annual parade wound its way through the streets, with participants waving to the crowd. Helena Wall, this year's Cover Girl, was the guest of honor, in the parade, and the seven young ladies vying for this year's Cover Girl crown were featured on various conveyances.
Antique tractors were just one of the features in this year's parade.

Parade Marshalls for 2007 were the Hopkins County Military Coalition, who were presented a placque by Fall Festival President, Dusty Rabe, before the beginning of the parade, in Buford Park.

Kids, clowns, organizations, beauty queens, antique cars, and both the Sulphur Springs High School Marching Band and the Blue Blazes Drill Team were featured in this year's parade. The Drill Team and Band both made exceptional performances, considering that they didn't arrive home from Friday night's football game in Whitehouse, before well past midnight! Congratulations to them on true devotion!
