In a change of venue, the Fall Festival Board changed the Star Night Performance to the first Saturday night of the annual Festival and based on the large crowd in attendance on Saturday night, the move proved successful. It was approximately 1500 patrons to walked through the doors on Saturday night to attend the performances by Monty Tipps and Mainstreet and The Randy Rogers Band, who kept over half of the patron literally "on their feet" for most of the night.

"We just decided that everybody was tired and worn-out from the Stew Contest, a week of events, and all of the planning and were failing to attend the Star Night, as the finale of the annual eight-day celebration," expressed Dusty Rabe. "So, we decided to move it to the first Saturday night, when things aren't quite so hectic. And, from the looks of the crowd tonight, the move was a success!"
