Saturday Folk Festival
Brings History to Life

Despite a "damp" start, on Saturday morning, this year's Hopkins County Folk Festival, hosted at the Hopkins County Heritage Museum, attracted a number of people who learned about the many aspects of Hopkins County history. Saturday's event featured live music, Dutch oven cooking demonstrations, blacksmithing, some great cakes made from historic recipes, and of course, a wonderful beans and cornbread dinner, at lunch.
