Hopkins County Represented Well
At Ft. Worth Stock Show
by: Bobby McDonald
The Dairy Show is now in progress at the 117th Annual Ft. Worth Stock Show and Rodeo and Hopkins County is well represented at this year's annual event, with a number of youth and adult exhibitors. Students from Sulphur Springs, Como-Pickton, North Hopkins, Miller Grove, and Saltillo are all exhibiting dairy cattle. Also, a number of local FFA chapters participated in the Ft. Worth Stock Show Ag Mechanics Contest, over the weekend, as well as the Dairy Judging Contest and the Dairy Goat Judging Contest.
More students from Hopkins County will be exhibiting livestock in the swine show, market steer show, market lamb and goat show, and the breeding beef heifer divisions.
Enjoy these photos from this weekend's participation in the show:

The Southwest Dairy Museum Milking Exhibit was a real "hit" among those attending the
Stock Show, over the weekend.
