It was a large crowd of local business owners and leaders that traveled to Cumby, on Thursday afternoon, to attend the Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours and Ribbon Cutting, hosted by Funk-tions. The business, located in the Billboard House, on I-30, is owned by Anita Gardner and Denise Null and specializes in creating the perfect place for receptions, luncheons, and parties, in the historic building.

"Denise and I have been best friends since we were in junior high!" explained Anita Gardner. "So, with this beautiful facility being available, we decided to create a business that would showcase the facility."

"And, we can handle about any size function, be it a wedding reception, a birthday party, or just a fun party for family and friends," added Denise Null. "We have plenty of room and can style a plan after any special occasion!"

Thursday's Business After Hours was the perfect time for the owners of Funk-tions, to show the beautiful facility and the great food that they can prepare for guests, at the establishment.

"We want to welcome you all and invite you to host your next event, business luncheon, or family gathering with us!" exclaimed Denise and Anita. "We'll work with you to make it a great and memorable event!"
