The Lights of Life Gala Committee was treated to a reception and fashion show, complete with live music, on Tuesday night, just before the get into "full" action, next week, of hosting the Annual Lights of Life Gala. "We thought this would be an opportunity for everyone to 'take a breath' and have a night of fun, before all of us 'out-do' ourselves next week, to pull-off the Gala event," expressed Jackie Thornton. "So, with the help of The Main Street Winery and Pocket Shoppes, this evening is for all of you who work so hard!"
Tuesday night's event featured several of the Gala committee modeling fashions that are available at the business on Main Street and a delicious reception, featuring several of the wines that are available at The Main Street Winery.

"Star of the show, in the fashion department, was Lights of Life Chair, Arvis Tanton," expressed Thornton. "Look for him starting a new trend on the streets of Sulphur Springs with his new 'furry' outfit!"
Several suggested that Tanton should use pictures of his experience "modeling" for a Christmas card, next year! On second thought, he might should be paying to have the pictures destroyed!
Pitty Pat Guidry, known as the "Mockingbird of Soul," provided the entertainment to the delight of the crowd, with a soulful sound and favorite hits, requested from the crowd.
Tuesday evening's event was a nice way for committee members to relax before going into "high gear" next week, as they host the premier social event in Hopkins County.
Congratulations on a "well-deserved" night of fun, before the action starts!
