23rd Annual Chamber Golf Tournament
Got Underway, Friday Morning

With approximately 50 teams entered in this years Hopkins County 23rd Annual Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament, action began early on Friday morning, and few in the morning round felt that it being Friday the 13th, was of any significance. "We're just enjoying the great weather and a nice morning of golf!" exclaimed one of the players. "But, maybe that's why I didn't make that shot on the last hole!"

Twenty-six teams were scheduled to play in the afternoon, with estimates of the tournament being completed about 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., Friday afternoon.
