Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting and Open House, on Friday, at noon.

The proverbial "red carpet" was rolled-out on Friday, at noon, at the newest motel in Sulphur Springs, the Hampton Inn, located at 1202 Mockingbird Lane. The owners, Mike and Daphne Cox, and the general manager, Stacey Gillespie, "cut the ribbon" and welcomed a host of business friends and neighbors to their facility, as they hosted an official Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting, and provided lunch and a tour of their facilities.

Matt Brown, visit during their tour of the new Hampton Inn, on Friday.
Visitor comfort, a meeting room, executive suites, and an exercise room were just some of the features exhibited on Friday's tour of the newly appointed facilities.

"We want to be a part of the business community and to contribute to the quality of life in Sulphur Spring and Hopkins County," expressed Daphne Cox, as she addressed the crowd. "We want to be one of the cornerstones of this community and look forward to serving those people who come to visit and those who live here in Sulphur Springs.
Beautifully appointed and spacious rooms are the cornerstone of the local facility.

Door prizes of "free night stays" in the facility were won by Bobby McDonald, Johnny Vance, and Charles Oxford.
A wonderfully appointed lunch was served to those in attendance, with plenty of opportunities to meet the owners and staff, were provided throughout the lunch hour.

And, these Chamber members had to be reminded "not to bounce on the beds" and to behave, while taking
Friday's tour of the executive suites.
