"The Roc" Hosts Over 55 Health Fair, Tuesday

It was a large crowd of Hopkins County residents that made their way to the new First Baptist Church "ROC" Center, on Tuesday, for a sponsored Over-55 Health Fair. The fair featured the services offered in the greater Hopkins County are for individuals to meet their health care needs. "We're excited to host this event for the community and to let everyone know the many features of our new facility," expressed Mike Armstrong, Coordinator at "The ROC." "We're excited about playing host and providing this needed service to our community!"

 

 

 

 

 

From assisted living and nursing care facilities, to hospice organizations, to just checking your blood pressure and additional health screenings, Tuesday fair was a great way to learn about the many, many services that this community offers. Drawings were held for a number of prizes and agencies gave a number of free gifts to those in attendance.
