Hopkins County 4-H Members Excel in Photography Contest
Many people have the misconception that 4-H is all about showing animals. That is simply not true! 4-H offers so much more! Although livestock projects are popular in Hopkins County, approximately 50% of our 4-H members do not have an animal project. As a matter of fact, the foods and nutrition project is the largest project area in the county. Robotics is a new project that began in January and has really taken off. We're gearing up for shooting sports and camps are just around the corner.
Photography is a project which many of our 4-H members enjoy. Recently, the District 4-H Photography contest took place, with Hopkins County 4-H members garnering many awards. Here are the results:

2) Brynden Andrews - Intermediate division
3) Aleigh Bessonett - Intermediate division
4) Jorja Bessonett - Junior division
Congratulations to each of these 4-H members for taking interest in photography. Remember, "a picture says a thousand words!"
