Holt Agribusiness Hosts Ribbon Cutting
And Open House, Thursday

addressed Thursday's crowd concerning the businesses location to Sulphur Springs.

 

 

Holt Agribusiness, on of Hopkins County's newest businesses partners, hosted an open house and ribbong cutting on Thursday, complete with a BBQ lunch and tours of their new facilities on Industrial Drive in Sulphur Springs. The business moved into Hopkins County, with the purchase of the family owned Bailey Tractor Company and brings a century old company to the area, to service farmers and ranchers, as well as industrial accounts with tractors and CAT products, as well as servicing them.

"We began in South Texas in 1904, when my great-great grandfather, began looking for ways to make the then heavy tractors 'hold up' in the muddy fields," advised Peter Holt, the fourth generation of the family owned business, headquartered out of San Antonio. "We bring to this community a committment to our customers and a century of operating a company with high intergrity standards!"

 

 

Sulphur Springs Mayor Craig Johnson issued a welcome from the City of Sulphur Springs and told the
Holt Agribusiness representatives how happy we were they decided on Sulphur Springs.

 

 

 

 

Holt Agribusiness General Manager, Paul Westbrook, called Jimmy and Barbara Bailey to the platform
and thanked them for the ability to purchased their Bailey Tractor business.

 



Local Mayor Craig Johnson and County Judge Chris Brown issued proclamations and welcomed the Holt Agribusiness Company to Hopkins County and in turn Holt recognized Jimmy and Barbara Bailey, as they thanked them for the opportunity to purchase their business and enter the local marketplace.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 



Once the ribbon was cut, it was time for a great BBQ lunch, with all the trimmings, as the over 300 people in attendance were able to visit, enjoy door prizes, and learn more about the company and its local employees.
