Delicious BBQ Prepared
For Hot August Night Event

Local volunteer firemen and a host of other cooks were at the Hopkins County Regional Civic Center grounds by daylight, on Saturday morning and had their smokers, grills, and fires going, as they prepared the delicious BBQ and all the trimmings for Saturday night's 2012 Hot August Night BBQ Contest. Cooks prepared brisket, sausage, ribs, and other meats, and the accompanying potato salad, beans, desserts, and other "mouth-watering" recipes.

Serving began at 5:00 p.m., Saturday, with an overflow crowd, waiting in line to sample their efforts.
