It was a "day to remember" for a young lady from Sulphur Springs and Hopkins County, when Emily Johnson, age 10, participated in the Honorary Page Program, on the floor of the Texas House of Representatives. She served as a page at the state capitol, in Austin, on May 5, 2009.

Emily is the daughter of Clay and Heather Johnson, of Sulphur Springs, and the granddaughter of Coy and Patsy Johnson of Sulphur Springs.
