Kiwanis Club Hosts Annual
Pancake Day, Saturday
by: Bobby McDonald
Head Kiwanis Chef!
It was "all you can eat" pancakes and all the trimmings, in the Hopkins County Civic Center, on Saturday, as the Sulphur Springs Kiwanis Club hosted their annual Pancake Day. Folks from all across the county came to enjoy the special day and help the Kiwanis Club with their fundraiser. The money from the annual event goes to fund community scholarships, the Lighted Christmas Parade, and a number of other projects that are sponsored by the club.

The Sulphur Springs High School Key Club, sponsored by the Kiwanis Club, were also on hand to help with serving the pancakes and aiding in the clean-up, on Saturday.
Sulphur Springs High School Key Club members helped with the serving and clean-up.

"We come out every year in support of the Kiwanis Club and to enjoy the pancakes," advised Morris and Barbara Abercrombie. "It's just a great day to get out, enjoy the food, and see all your friends and neighbors in Sulphur Springs!"
This young man is ready to "chow down" on his Kiwanis pancakes,
at Saturday's event!
