Lady Owls Over Lady Trojans

The Yantis Lady Owls were matched with the Cumby Lady Trojans in Friday morning play, in the Miller Grove Invitational Tournament. The Owls overpowered the Lady Trojans in a 41-33 decision.

The Lady Owls only held a 20-18 advantage at the halftime intermission, but increased their lead to a 35-25 advantage, by the end of the third period. Cumby added 8 points to their total during the fourth period, with Yantis only scoring 6, but the earlier advantage was too much for the Lady Trojans to overcome.
