Prosper.......It was a long, long road trip for the Yantis Lady Owls and their fans, and a disappointing ending to a great season, as they lost to Bellevue, in their Area Play-off game, Tuesday night, at Prosper High School. The Lady Owls "fought to the finish" with a team that exceeded them in height and still managed to stay within three-points of them, losing 39-36.

"I'm very proud of the effort that my girls gave," expressed Yantis Owl Coach Tina Carrillo. "They fought hard against a very tough team, that over-powered them in height, and had an opportunity to 'pull it out' in the last two minutes of the game. They never gave up and kept trying all night long!"

Carrillo has an even brighter future for next year, as the seasoned team that went 10-0 in District play, all return with the exception of one senior.

Congratulations to the Lady Owls and Coach Carrillo on a great season!!!
