Lady Owls Continue Winning

Streak, Tuesday Night

The Yantis Lady Owl Volleyball Team continued their winning streak, on Tuesday night, as they hosted Wolfe City, at Lady Owl Gym. In what thus far has been the "norm," this season, the Lady Owls struggled with their game, during the first match. As they "see sawed" back and forth with Wolfe City, they lost the match 19-25. However, it was a different look during the next three games as the Lady Owls won 25-22, 25-23, and 25-15.

"I'm really proud of the girls," expressed Coach Dana  Gilliland. "We've really practiced hard and they continue to build as a team, as the season progresses!

The Lady Owls played Fruitvale on Saturday, in Fruitvale, where it took five games for the Lady Owls to continue their winning streak, but their over twenty straight matches continues the unbroken string of wins.

The Lady Owls will be off for the remainder of the week and then travel to Union Hill, on Tuesday night, October 9th, for a 5:00 p.m. game.
