Lady Panthers Lose Another
"Close One"

Quinlan - The North Hopkins Lady Panthers lost a heartbreaker to Boles 40-37 Tuesday night on the road to fall to 0 - 2 in District 18A. The teams battled back and forth with the largest lead of the night only five points for either team.

The Lady Panthers were down 10-8 after one quarter but came back to lead 22-19 at the half. A 10-4 Boles third quarter gave the Lady Hornets a 29-26 lead going into the final period where both teams notched 11 points.

"We just don't seem to be able to close the deal. The girls never quit working hard and I know things will fall in place one of these nights," Coach Larry Tucker said. "Macy Griner had a great game with 15 points and 10 rebounds and Haley Flanagan played well too.".

 

 

 

North Hopkins will face Cumby Thursday night at home beginning at 4:30 p.m. It will be the district opener for the boy's teams.
