Little Olympians "Steal The Show"
Saturday Night

by: Bobby McDonald

With the 2008 Summer Olympics almost ready to open, it was only fitting and proper that the Hopkins County Dairy Festival chose "Moo-Lympics" as their theme. And, it was the "little folks from around the world," that "stole the show," on Saturday night, as they entered the Hopkins County Civic Center and followed a torch bearing cow, who lit the flame for the action to begin!

And, everyone's favorite Mountie from Canada was
Reed Williams.

The children's part of the program featured flag waving entertainers that represented individual countries and the previous Saturday they had decorated golf carts and conveyances that depicted their individual countries.

Representing Italy was soccer playing, Straton Salverino and representing
the country of Chile was McKenzie Kilmer.

Can you "pick out" your favorite little star?

Elli-Kate Daniel brought her smile all the way
from Figi!

Little Addie Kate Price was from Egypt.

Braddox Rawson and Charlie Betts came with their own milk and dairy products from France.

Taylor Orsornio came all the way from the Bahamas.

Jayden Holly brought her own flowers from Holland.
