Conference Set For February 24th

East Texas Forage Conference

 

The 2010 East Texas Forage Conference will be held February 24, 2010 at the  Rains County Fairgrounds from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm. This year topics include bermuda grass production cost (Seeded vs Sprigs) by Dr. Vanessa Corriher, Assistant Professor and Extension Forage Specialist – Texas AgriLife Extension, Overton, TX, intensive grazing management by Ron Morrow, grazing land specialist, Arkansas Natural Resource Conservation Service,

Farm Service Agencies Program for Forage Producers, by John Reeves, FSA Director, Van Zandt and Henderson Counties and Sprayer Calibration, A Hands on Approach by Mr. Darrin Rozzell, from Rozzell Sprayer Manufacturing and Red River Specialties.

 

 

Three CEU’s will be given for Private Pesticide Applicators. The cost for the meeting is $10.00 per individual.
