Two Miller Grove FFA Youth
Win Market Goat Show

Two Miller Grove FFA members, Ashley Claxton and Phillip Rater, walked away with the top awards in the 2013 NETLA Market Goat Show, on Thursday night, at approximately 9:30 p.m., in the Hopkins County Regional Civic Center. Ashley Claxton showed her Class 8 winning market goat to the Grand Champion honors. She was followed by fellow Miller Grove FFA member, Phillip Rater, who's Class 2 Light-weight goat received the nod from the judge for the Reserve Champion honors. Look for both Ashley and Phillip in the Sale of Champions, on Saturday afternoon, as they parade their winning entries before prospective buyers.

 

 

Cody Vance won the Senior Goat Showmanship honors.

 

 

Jace Thompson won the Intermediate Showmanship honors.

 

 

Parris Pickett won Junior Showmanship honors.
