Hopkins County Youth Market Show
Time Is Almost Here

Youth all across Hopkins County, in both 4-H and FFA, are wading mud, fighting the bitter cold, and making certain that their animals are taken care of, on the farms and in backyard facilities. It's almost time for the Hopkins County Youth Market Show, scheduled for February 25th, 26th, and 27th. The Sale of Champions is scheduled on Saturday night, February 27th, at 6:00 p.m.

"The Sale of Champions is where we come in!" declared Brad Johnson and Frank Long. "Each year, our sales committee works with local businesses to solicit their support for helping the youth receive the money for their projects, so that they can afford other projects and save  money for college!"

"It's a monumental task and one that we always need the support of fellow businesses to make it a success," continued Johnson. "It's tough economically out there and that means that our committee must work just that much harder, so that we can meet our goals!"

"We want to thank all of those that have continued to help us in the past, and ask them to please remember the youth this year, as well!" inserted Long. "These kids have worked just as hard as those in the past and will be faced with an even more expensive bill for their college educations. Costs just seem to keep going up for them, as well!"
