Duncan and Stanley Win Top Awards
in Market Steer Show

Henderson County Extension Agent, Rick Hirsch, complemented the quality of all the steers in this year's 2012 Market Steer Show, indicating the depth of quality throughout the classes, before he named this year's 2012 Champion and Reserve Champion Market Steers. Receiving the nod for the top award was Quincy Duncan, of the Sulphur Bluff FFA, who was awarded the Grand Champion Award for her 1355 pound black steer from Class #5, the Heavy-Weight Steers. Then, Hirsch went to the Class #4 and selected Samuel Stanley's 1250 pound crossbred steer for the Reserve Champion honors. Stanley is a member of the Hopkins County 4-H.
