Win 2013 Market Swine Show

The 2013 Market Swine Show got underway at 1:00 p.m., on Friday, in the arena of the Hopkins County Regional Civic Center. Judge for the show was Josh Elgin of Franklin, Texas, and is a show-feed specialist for ADM Feeds. Elgin worked through the seven classes of swine and three classes of showmanship before a packed crowd of spectators.

 

Harli Watson, a Junior FFA Member from Miller Grove, showed her 264 pound Hampshire Cross barrow to Grand Champion honors, after winning Class 7 with her entry.

Reserve Grand Champion honors were placed on the 228 pound light-weight Class 1 entry of Allie Eason, also a member of the Miller Grove FFA.
