Finishes 7th at State Competition

Individual results: 18th Nathan George 17:45, 43rd Logan Miller 18:25, 54th Riley Mitchell 18:56,69th Quinten Stovall 19:17,74th Titus Lehman 19:35,99th Cameron Gray 20:49, 102nd William Clinton.

Team Finished 7th with 162 points.

 

 

 

We went into the race wanting to be the top team from our region at the state meet and we accomplished that. I am very proud of the accomplishments of all our runners. We went from 8th in the region last year to finishing 7th in the state this year. These young men put in the work and were rewarded for it. Although you can only run 7 runners in a varsity race as a team we had 8 individuals who have all been a part of this. Our 6-7 runners rotated spots starting with the district race. So I would also like to recognize Zane Calderon for his accomplishments this year.

 

I want to congratulate Saltillo on a great year as well. They are the Regional Champs and return all but 1 runner next year. I think that we will be battling it out again next year with them as well as Cumby.
