Folks in Miller Grove are going crazy with that "Hornet Fever," as the Miller Grove Hornets brought home a come from behind victory, from Whitehouse, on Friday night, as they defeated Kennard 71-68. The Hornets were down by 10 points at the halftime intermission, and were down by eleven at the beginning of the 4th quarter, but "poured it on" and secured the win, to continue their quest in the play-offs.

The Hornets are the only team left in the greater Hopkins County area, still in the play-offs.

Reports are that their next game will be against Slocum, on Monday night.

Look for complete game stats and play-off game details, as the information become available!
Many of the Miller Grove School youth were at the Hopkins County Market Show, as they were showing their pigs in the Market Swine Show, on Friday night, but a "whoop" went up in the back of the barn, when contacts via telephone arrived of the Miller Grove Hornet victory!

Congratulations to Coach Gary Billingsley
and the Miller Grove Hornets!!!
