Miller Grove Recognizes Top Athletes
At Tuesday Night Sports Banquet

It was a night of fun and celebration, on Tuesday night in Miller Grove, as the athletic department hosted the annual Sports Banquet, complete with a delicious BBQ meal, catered by Murray's BBQ.

Coaches Billingley, Jenkins, and Potts named the students that had received all-district, all-region, and all state awards and honored each of the seniors with a token for their four years of participation in high school athletics. Highlight of the night was the naming of the 2011-12 Hornet Awards. There were several tears shed among coaches and students as they spoke about their involvment in sports and the "family atmosphere" among the teams and with their coaches.
