Miller Grove Takes Victory
In Yantis, Tuesday Night

From Coach Chris Hightower

In an intensely competitive game, on Tuesday night, before a huge crowd that came out in support of small cancer victim, that is the younger brother of two of the Yantis Owls, the Yantis Owls and Miller Grove Hornets played an exciting basketball game, that scores really didn't reflect the intensity. "It seemed like every time the Yantis Owls had the opportunity to score, the ball 'danced around the rim' and then fell out!" commented one fan. "The Owls played a much, much harder game than the score reflected!"

But, it was the Miller Grove Hornets who walked away with the victory, but their fans and supporters opened up their pocketbooks and hearts to help the small boy from Yantis with his fight with cancer! "It was a great game and made all the more important when both teams were playing for this little boy!" remarked one Miller Grove fan. "This is what basketball is suppose to be all about, friendly competition, but everyone is friends when it's all over!"
