Enjoy the following extra shots from Saturday night's Independence Festival on the downtown square. The show was spectacular, even though Mother Nature came through and shortened the program, dumping approximately 2.5 inches of rain in Sulphur Springs. Outlying areas in the county received up to 2 inches of needed moisture and folks were able to get "under cover" before the rainfall made its way into town!

 

Dark skies signaled an end to the symphony's program and the fireworks immediately began....
