
Ina Gore was crowned the 3rd Annual "Ms. Hopkins County," on
Saturday night, at the pageant hosted at the Church of the Nazarene.

It was a night of entertainment, beauty, poise, philosophy of life, and just fun, as four "young" ladies competed for the 3rd Annual Ms. Hopkins County title. John Sellers served as the Master of ceremonies for the event, and kept the action moving as he introduced candidates, fielded questions during the interview portion of the pageant, and then announced the winners.
John Sellers served as the M.C. for Saturday night's pageant.

Carol Ann Dixon, age 66, who stated that she liked to cook, read, volunteer, and especially enjoys Southern Gospel Music. She volunteers at the Meal-A-Day Center and Terrific Tuesday's Program and is a member of the Davis Street Baptist Church.
Ina Gore, age 76, stated that she enjoyed both singing and gardening. She is a the lead singer of Psalm 100 and volunteers on the Hopkins County Fall Festival Board. She has four children, thirteen grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

Louise Voss, age 93, said that she liked to read, work in her daughter's garden, and visit with friends and family. Louise is a member of Terrific Tuesdays and has two children, five grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
Nancy Bolton, age 64, likes to sing, read, and enjoys photography and flower gardening. She is involved in the NETCS Ladies Bible Study and volunteers at the Sulphur Bluff Volunteer Fire Department. She has three children, five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Special entertainment was provided by the reigning Ms. Texas, Ann Danford, as she presented this dance routine.
Ms. Hopkins County 2011-12, Betty Caudle, provided the crowd with lovely piano music, throughout the pageant
and demonstrated her multi-faceted talent, that won her last year's crown.
