Hopkins County Beef Dollars
Realized at NETBIO Sale, Wednesday

Local beef cattlemen and ranchers brought beef dollars to Hopkins County, on Wednesday, when the spring NETBIO Sale was conducted at Sulphur Springs Livestock and Dairy Auction, on Hwy-154.

A total of 4447 head of pre-conditioned calves were marketed at the special sale, and brought a premium, as local farmers and ranchers had participated in the program to wean, vaccinate, and prepare the calves for the feedlot.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The sale was completed near dark on Wednesday night and trucks were waiting in line to transport the cattle to the feedlots.
