NETLA Scholarship

Ben Stowater, Hopkins County 4-H member and 2012 graduate of Sulphur Springs High School, was recently awarded a $1,000 scholarship from Northeast Texas Livestock Association (NETLA). Ben has been a member of Hopkins County 4-H for several years, and has participated in the Vet Science program, livestock and leadership projects. He has served as a teen leader at Multi-county 4-H Camp, President of the Stars of Texas 4-H Club, and as a Delegate on the Hopkins County 4-H Council and the District IV Council. Ben, son of Joan and Jon Stowater, plans to attend Texas A&M - College Station in the fall.
