National Honor Society
Inducts New Members, Thursday Night

Rachel Mattison, president of the Gladys Alexander Chapter National Honor Society,
welcomes guests and begins the induction ceremony.

 

Thirty-seven new members were inducted into the Gladys Alexander Chapter of the National Honor Society, at Sulphur Springs High School, on Thursday evening, in the traditional formal ceremony. Students are selected on scholarship, service, leadership, and character. Officers of the chapter conducted the candlelighting ceremony, explaining each of the qualities a member must possess, in being selected for membership.
