PBR Recognizes Partners at
Tuesday Night Dinner Meeting

Front Porch News Texas, along with a number of other local businesses was recognized on
Tuesday night at a PBR Dinner hosted in the Civic Center.
"Mark you calendars for August 10th and 11th, 2012!" exclaimed Jim McLain, on Tuesday night, at a PBR Sponsored Dinner, in the Hopkins County Civic Center. "That's when the 5th Anniversary Ram Challenge PBR Tour will return to Hopkins County!"
"We wanted to recognize all of you who have promoted, sponsored, and made this happen, the past four years in Sulphur Springs and Hopkins County and to give you a 'heads up' on some new and exciting things that will be happening to mark the 5th Annual production," continued McLain. "It's going to be an exciting time and a great show for 2012!"
McLain presented a video presentation of a number of the 2011 events and highlighted last year's show, with some of the outstanding rides and Bullfighting presentations.

He then announced that in 2012 the event will be bringing back the PBR Bucking Bull Derby, in even a bigger way, for Hopkins County. Some 100 bull breeders will be bringing back their top three-year old bucking bull prospects to perform in Sulphur Springs, for a $100,000.00 prize package. "The top young bulls will be here in Hopkins County for this derby and the breeders and their families will be back in Hopkins County, once again, to stay in your motels, eat in your restaurants, and be visitors to your city!" related McLain. "They'll be coming to support their bulls and to watch them buck, in this exciting event!"
"And, we'll once again attract some of the top bullriders and bullfighters in the nation for this year's event," expressed McLain. "We're planing a great show and one for you to market your businesses to the many people who will be attending!"
Texas Heritage National Bank is recognized as a sponsor.
The Make a Wish Foundation will once again be a beneficiary of the PBR event in Sulphur Springs, as well as an added scholarship program for youth, that is being planned at the present time.
McLain then presented each of the 2011 partners with a framed photo, denoting their support of the PBR coming to Hopkins County.
Tuesday night's event was catered by Big Smith BBQ.
