Governor Perry and Congressman Hall
Plan Trip to Sulphur Springs, July 3rd

Press Release from Erwin Cain's Office

Governor Rick Perry and Congressman Ralph Hall will be in Sulphur Springs on July 3, 2009!

They will be speaking at a TEA (Taxed Enough Already) Party Rally scheduled on July 3rd at 6:30 p.m. on the downtown Sulphur Springs square in front of the Hopkins County Courthouse.

On Tax Day (April 15) there were over 2000 TEA Parties throughout the nation attended by 500,000 to 1,000,000 concerned Americans disgusted over the misuse of our tax dollars.  Apparently Washington is not hearing the message. So this time, the message will be louder!

The upcoming American Freedom Day TEA Parties are scheduled nationwide over the Independence Day weekend. July 4th is a tremendously important day to commemorate our independence, to remember the price our forefathers paid to secure our freedom and to honor our military for the sacrifices made to preserve our freeman’s democracy.  At present there are nearly 1000 rallies scheduled nationwide. The emphasis will be on demanding an end to bloated, wasteful, and incompetent spending and the erosion of our democratic form of government.

Speakers include Governor Rick Perry, U.S. Congressman  Ralph Hall, Hopkins County Judge Cletis Milsap, Hopkins County GOP Chairman Erwin A. Cain, C. J. Duffey of Color Blind Ministries, Art Romanat, and others. And there will be another important opportunity to petition the President and Congress during the event. Although there will be signs, everyone is welcome to make their own and exercise their freedom of expression. Feel free to bring food, drink and lawn chairs.

"Please talk to your family, friends, and neighbors and encourage them to attend. Let’s  make this event one that will be seen and heard all the way to Washington!" stated Hopkins County Republican Party Chairman, Erwin Cain.
