Make a trip to Guaranty Bond Bank and you're sure to find some novel idea for decorating your own pumpkins this autumn season. The bank sponsored an employee pumpkin decorating contest and brought-in a field of judges to determine the winners. Three winners were announced for their creative efforts. Winning first prize was Sarah Plunk, for her Cinderella Pumpkin Carriage, complete with the horse to pull it! Sarah received 21 votes for her efforts.

Second prize was awarded to Wanda Crabtree for her giant spider that carried-out the more traditional Halloween theme. Third prize was awarded to receptionist, Pamela Hankins, who decorated her pumpkin to depict some lady who was coming in to make a loan, complete with her own loan papers and a purse with money.

Other pumpkins entered in the contest exhibited a variety of known and "not so known" characters. There was the "Ronald McDonald" pumpkin, "The Grinch" pumpkin, and the pumpkin created by Guaranty Bond Bank Loan Officer, Matt Brown, who simply put nothing on his pumpkin and "let everyone use their imagination!"

depict a varitety of creativity and will be something you will want to drop by and enjoy!

 

Guaranty Bond Bank personnel stated that they had all had a great time decorating the pumpkins and continued to receive laughs from customers as they enter the bank. All entries are on display in the bank lobby for everyone to enjoy. So, drop by Guaranty Bond Bank and get in the autumn spirit, while you view the pumpkins!
