Rotary Club Distributes Heaters
To Needy Families

 

 

The Rotary Club of Sulphur Springs received a matching grant from the Rotary District to purchased heaters to be distributed to local residents in need. In addition to the grant, Lowes provided a discount to the Club. CANHelp is assisting the Rotary Club by accepting requests for the 41 heaters at 903-885-9797.

Rotarians met Monday, December 12 at Professional Land Title to prepare the heaters for distribution. Joining the Rotarians are (on the left) Adam Teer (CANHelp Executive Director), Kayla Price (Rotary Grant Chairperson), and (right) Steve Carmody (Lowe's manager). Rotarians assisting with the project are, standing from left, Club President Craig Roberts, Zane Brown, Yvonne King, Wayne Bawcum, Chris Brown, Patsy Bolton, Chris Diamond, Dick Flesher, Markeda Fisher, Buck Booker, Bob Weaver, Eddie Northcutt, Drake Clarke, Judy Tipping and Oscar Strain.
