Award-Winning Reilly Springs Jamboree
Features Local Talent, Saturday Night
by: Bobby McDonald
"Cousin Cedric" did the twist for the audience!
It was a rainy night in Hopkins County, but still a large crowd "braved the elements" and made their way to Reilly Springs for the monthly Jamboree musical show. The award-winning show, that had previously won the Community Pride Award at this year's Hopkins County Chamber of Commerce Banquet, featured a large array of local talent.
Among the favorites was "Cousin Cedric" who brought his own antics and "corn" to the stage, and even added more laughs, when he decided to do the twist for the audience to one of the popular 1960's tune! Of course, Cousin Cedric looks an awful lot like Ronny Glossup, Justice of the Peace for Hopkins County!
Another moving part on Saturday night's show was when the Monday night Pickers, took to the stage and featured Larry Spradlin on one of their songs!
