R.S.V.P. Conducts
9-11 Service Project

The local R.S.V.P. organization conducted a 9-11 Service Project, to commemorate the September 11th observance and to help members of our community. They conducted a yarn drive, with the yarn being used to make shawls, for the Shawls of Love Program. The ladies that work in the Shawls of Love program donate them to local nursing homes, to keep residents warm, during the cooler temperatures.

 

 

 

 

This yarn will help the ladies continue the program and continue to make these much needed donations to the local nursing homes. If you were unable to donate on Tuesday, during the drive, you may place your donation at the Senior Citizens Center, for delivery to the program.
