Saltillo FFA Ag Mech Team
Places 4th in State

 

The Saltillo FFA Agricultural Mechanics Team placed 4th in the Texas FFA State Judging Contest, held at Sam Houston State University on Friday  May 4th. Thirty teams throughout the state competed at the contest.  The team advanced to state by placing 1st at the area elimination contest held at Texas A&M at Commerce earlier last month.  The theme for the contest this year is grain handling systems with emphasis on electrical motors and controllers  concrete and foundations, and grain conveyance equipment.  The event has three parts, a one hundred question quiz, a team problem solving activity, and three individual skill activities.
