"Pink and Denim Day," Wednesday

"Calling all those interested in finding a cure for Breast Cancer!" That's the challenge for Wednesday, October 10th, at Saltillo School, when they will sponsor their annual "Pink and Denim" Day to join the fight against breast cancer.

Members of the teaching staff and students will be soliciting money for the fight and wearing pink and denim on Wednesday, according to staff member, Johnna West. "It's a day of both remembering and doing our part for fighting breast cancer!" expressed West. "It's to bring awareness to this dreadful disease, collect money to support research, and to celebrate those who have won the struggle with the disease, as well as offer encouragement to those who are now suffering with it!"

 

 

 

West invites any individual or business to contact the school if they would like to support the fundraising effort!
